Job sharing is a business arrangement in which two individuals share a job. As far as management, clients, support staff, and peers are concerned, the job share team is a single entity. Job share members utilize their own individual experiences and expertise to enhance the perception and performance of the team.
The ultimate goal for a job share is to form a synergistic partnership. The key components for this are similar to maintaining a happy and healthy marriage: Communication, Commitment, Trust, Common Goals, and Complimentary Strengths.
